Doctor Richard Abittan is a former assistant at Paris Hospitals. He has worked in general and digestive surgery since 1991 with a specialization in laparoscopic Surgery, a technique which he uses in 80% of his operations.

He carries out 1,000 laparoscopic operations a year, including gallbladder, hernia, gastroesophageal reflux, colon surgery, pelvic organs surgery, and for more than 7 years (gastric ring; Bypass and Sleeve gastrectomy).
